Life Beyond The Classroom: Insights From The Working World

 This talk will focus on what it's like to work in the "real world". We'll cover topics ranging from interviewing at small startups to big companies, different interview techniques, a typical work day, and how to stay in demand and stand out. This talk is meant to be informal and attendees are encouraged to participate in the discussion!

Speaker's Bio: 

Chris Freas is a Senior Network Engineer at Cox Communications, where he develops automation tools, evaluates new networking technologies, and strives to make the Cox network better. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science and his research interests include artificial neural networks, graph theory, and combinatorial optimization.
