Tech Internships: Everything You Want to Know

How do you get a tech internship as a college student? What is the process like? What are the things you wish you had done differently? Hear from students who have been through the internship experience as they answer these questions and share their experiences.

Panelists

Brian Johnson (Software Engineer Intern, Intuit) Brian is currently a first-year graduate student in GSU’s M.S. in Computer Science program. He interned at Intuit last summer as a Software Engineer Intern on the Native IDX team for their QuickBooks platform. Brian specializes in mobile development, mainly in iOS and Swift.

Paul Nwajei (Risk & IoT Operations Analyst Intern, StreamLabs, Chubb) Paul is a senior at Georgia State studying Risk Management with a CIS (Cybersecurity) minor. He currently works at StreamLabs under Chubb as a Fall 2025 Risk & IoT Operations Analyst Intern, where he supports early-stage claims evaluation by analyzing IoT-driven water-loss events.

Ramita Rathore (Data & Analytics Intern, Equifax) Ramita interned at Equifax over the summer of 2025, where she worked as a Data & Analytics Intern. She recently graduated from GSU with a B.S. in Computer Science and a Data Science certificate. She is now pursuing an M.S.A. in Data Science and Analytics at GSU. Ramita loves to read in her free time.

Srivalli Samudrala (IT Project Administrator Intern, Oldcastle Infrastructure) Srivalli is a senior majoring in Business Management and Computer Information Systems with concentrations in Consulting and Digital Innovation. Her internship experience includes working as a Fall 2025 IT Project Administrator Intern with Oldcastle Infrastructure. Outside of school and work, Srivalli loves cooking and dancing.
